At Alchemy, the Salon, we have two different types of stylists.
Our SESSION STYLISTS have a “session rate” instead of a-la-cart services, which creates clear, fair, transparent pricing. Think of it like an all-inclusive vacation: your session includes all services within the time frame booked. If your hair needs a treatment, or glaze, or root smudge, or dusting, and we have enough time booked, you’ll get it! Each stylists rate is determined by their experience and speed. You will know how much you are paying before you even come to your appointment. Our services are genderless and inclusive. There are no additional surprise add-on fees at check out. Gratuity is never expected but greatly appreciated.
Our BOOTH RENTER STYLISTS run their businesses their own way. You will need to contact them directly for pricing inquiries.
Imogene Wilson- Owner, Master Stylist & Balayage Expert

Nearly two decades behind the chair, Fairfield native, Imogene is known for her expert eye and vibrant energy. She specializes in dimensional color and freehand balayage, creating sunkissed, lived-in looks that feel effortlessly natural on both light and dark hair. She's also known for her precision with short cuts — from bobs and lobs to pixies — often incorporating razor work to craft soft, flattering shapes with a modern edge.
Before becoming a mom to her daughter Adalyn, Imogene worked as an educator for a global color brand, giving her a deep technical foundation and a love for teaching. Today, she brings that same level of care and knowledge to every guest in her chair.
Imogene’s goal is to not only deliver beautiful, polished results, but also leave her clients feeling refreshed, confident, and ready to take on the world.
Session pricing: $200 per hour
Mercedes McAfee- Senior Stylist
Mercedes, a versatile and enthusiastic stylist with a true passion for her craft, brings creativity and skill to every service, proving time and again that there’s nothing she can’t do when it comes to hair. She specializes in curly textures, flowy styles, rich brunettes, and vivid color transformations.
Constantly inspired by new trends, Mercedes is dedicated to ongoing education and mastering the latest in color and cutting techniques. Her goal is always to enhance her clients’ natural beauty while making them feel confident, comfortable, and cared for throughout the entire process.
Session pricing: $150 per hour
Brittany DiBartolomeo- Stylist
Brittany brings years of industry experience as a former haircare product specialist. She’s passionate about high-quality products and loves helping clients build personalized routines to maintain their look between visits.
Brittany specializes in seamless, lived-in color on all hair types. She's committed to ongoing education and always stays on top of the latest cut and color techniques to keep her clients looking polished and current.
Her goal is to create a relaxing, pampering experience that leaves each guest feeling confident and refreshed. Outside the salon, you’ll find her traveling, walking her dog, or spending time with family. Brittany is fluent in English and also speaks Spanish and Italian!
Session pricing: $115 per hour
Gabriell Guerrera- Junior Stylist
Gabrielle is our latest addition to the Alchemy team, and she is someone to watch out for in the Fairfield hair scene! She has a special love for creating chic, mid-to-shorter length cuts, rich dimensional brunettes, and low-maintenance, lived-in color that grows out beautifully. With a passion for creativity and building lasting connections, Gabrielle’s goal is to ensure every guest feels comfortable, confident, and cared for. Always eager to learn and grow, she embraces every new challenge as an opportunity to refine her craft and bring fresh inspiration to her work.
Session pricing: $75 per hour
Kristina Ivezaj- Booth Renter Stylist
With nearly three decades of beauty knowledge, Kristina specializes in extensions, long hair, and creative color and cuts that push the envelope while still feeling wearable and fresh. Her top priority is always maintaining the integrity of the hair while achieving the look her clients envision.
Known for her bold, collaborative approach, Kristina works closely with each guest to create captivating styles that reflect their personality and lifestyle.
